Cactus presented a new work by the Delirics label a year ago: ‘Mode avió’. This was the third album by the Valencian band and the first without the vocalist Samantha (OT). In this new proposal, the Valencian group opted for fresh and danceable melodies, without losing its urban essence. Without a doubt, this new work has been a complete success and it has been evident with singles like ‘A la valenciana’, which has been playing on all the music radio stations in Catalonia and has filled a lot of festivals, major festivals and venues this summer!
‘Mode avió’ was a cry to disconnect, a cry to stop an increasingly crazy world where news and opinions run at such a dizzying pace that there is not even time to digest them. Now, they have already started a new path towards a new album. They recently presented ‘Mone!’, by the hand of Colomet, a song that talks about the people who accompany us on the journey that is life. They then released ‘Falla’, a single that transports you to that constant party, to love, which in the end is a falla that burns, a falla that, if it’s made up of the right characters, makes spring explode.
The Valencian band now presents ‘La batxateta’, a third single to welcome summer, which is accompanied by the beach, vacations and town festivals, but, above all, the love that is awakened by a gesture, by a simple look or a piece of clothing that catches the attention of a special person. Cactus celebrates the arrival of heat and summer to the rhythm of ‘Batxateta’, a soft song with Latin rhythms that will make us enjoy and dance all these months to come!
