Guitar, voice, words and silence. These are the elements with which this young boy from Barcelona plays. The Bird Yellow is the solo musical project of singer-songwriter Gerard Vidal Barrena. Anglo-Saxon indie-folk of slow melodies, deep and broken voice; with personal and intimate lyrics.
To his amazing and surprising debut album, Little Kids, we will find eleven fantastic songs that capture the vital moment of this young artist: the interval between childhood and adulthood.
Little Kids, therefore, is the initiatory journey of a young artist towards full existential maturity; and also the letter of introduction of this new artist of great future who, with an unusual talent for his age, moves us to his own universe.
