CARTERO, the new single by Slim Samurai & Pandawigga
Singer-songwriter Toni Pla, better known in the circle of urban music as Slim Samurai, arrives from Ibiza to send a positive message full of that tranquility that has always characterized him. That’s his music. The calm that at some point in the day, we always need.
After traveling the world in search of the inspiration needed for his creations, he has made his sound identity part of the urban nexus for a decade, collaborating with artists such as Cruz Cafuné, Cecilio G, Lil Moss, Chill Chicos and Las Bajas Pasiones, among others. Singing, recording songs and directing music videos throughout the underground scene, he has become a key player in understanding today’s industry.
In May 2021 he presented a new record: ‘Nimbo’. An album produced by Tauro, who together with the Ibizan artist have managed to combine indie and urban music perfectly, but above all, their friendship is what has led them to bring out the best in each of them. An album that was born in the spring and has powerful collaborations with Mi Amargo, Las Bajas Pasiones and Lildami, among others.
Slim Samurai is back and this time, well accompanied, by the hand of Pandawigga, with whom he is preparing his next EP, and now they are tasting it with ‘Cartero’. This single is an indie-pop song that talks about love from a casual and atypical point of view. An ode to all those people who bring to our doors the packages we so desperately need.
In addition, on this occasion, they have the collaboration of Pablo Roso on vocals, and Burrito McKenzie and Juicy Mani, on bass and guitar.
