The Barcelona-based band VITTARA present their second full-length album, ‘VTT ARA’, a project that marks the culmination of their journey so far and reaffirms the group as one of the most prominent acts in today’s Catalan indie scene. VITTARA was born from the connection between three friends from Barcelona: Uri (guitars and vocals), Tuliv (bass), and Pol (guitars and keyboards). Since their beginnings in 2022 with the EP ‘dosmilset’, alongside Julieta, the band has continued to grow steadily within the Catalan indie landscape.

Through eleven tracks, ‘VTT ARA’ offers an emotional and introspective journey, navigating doubts, concerns, and an intimate perspective on universal themes such as nostalgia, longing, and uncertainty about the future. The album showcases the band’s most mature version to date, exploring a wide range of sounds that move from powerful guitars and sharp, intense vocals to moments of delicate melodic and vocal sensitivity.

The project is built around a central concept: the duality between two seemingly opposing realities—the adult, corporate, and structured world (VTT) and the natural, creative, and imaginary world (ARA). This tension, along with the desire to reconcile both universes, runs through both the lyrics and the sonic landscape of the album, drawing from the personal experiences of its members: Uri, Tuliv, and Pol.

‘VTT ARA’ features collaborations with Socunbohemio, Lins EFX, and poggioli, who bring new textures and expand the project’s sonic palette. The album is produced by Joan Cabré, with collaboration from Pol Guardiola, while mastering was carried out at Ultramarinos Costa Brava by Víctor Garcia, ensuring a high-quality final sound. The album’s visual universe has been developed by artist Èric Zwatrzko, shaping the aesthetic identity that accompanies the project.

The new album will be presented live on April 30th at Sala Razzmatazz 3, in a concert that promises to mark a turning point in the band’s career. With ‘VTT ARA’, VITTARA consolidate a solid, honest artistic proposal with an increasingly defined identity, positioning themselves as one of the most promising bands in the current music scene.
