VITTARA presents ‘Tanca el llum i obre la porta’, their new single and third preview from their upcoming album, a track that reveals the most indie, dark, and underground facet of the Barcelona-based band. Following the brighter, pop-nostalgic tone of ‘Iguals’ and the first single ‘el meu lloc preferit’ featuring Socunbohemio, the group now takes a step forward into a rawer, more intense, and emotional sonic territory.
The song opens with a visual, almost cinematic atmosphere that builds in intensity until reaching a sharp, layered climax, combining instrumental and vocal textures with echoes reminiscent of Fontaines D.C. A track that grows in tension and depth, confirming VITTARA’s willingness to explore new sonic landscapes and expand the boundaries of their creative universe.

This new single is part of the band’s forthcoming album, which will be presented live on April 30th at Razzmatazz 3, in a concert that promises to mark a new turning point in the band’s trajectory.
VITTARA is the synergy of Uri (guitars and vocals), Tuliv (bass), and Pol (guitars and keyboards): three friends from Barcelona representing a new generation of Catalan artists, with influences ranging from Radiohead to El Mató a un Policía Motorizado, while maintaining an increasingly solid and personal identity.
The project debuted in early 2022 with the joint EP ‘dosmilset’, alongside Julieta, and has continued to grow within the Catalan indie-pop scene ever since. With this new release, VITTARA consolidates a mature, honest artistic proposal with a distinct personality, positioning themselves as one of the most promising bands in today’s music scene.
