After surprising with Sa Tornada (Chapter 1) and moving listeners with Eros (Chapter 3), Ibiza-born artist Karlus releases Fantasma, a new chapter of his highly anticipated conceptual album NOVA EBUSUS. This new track delves into a theme that is highly present in contemporary relationships: ghosting.
With bare, direct, and emotional lyrics, Fantasma speaks about the sudden silence that breaks any bond, leaving behind a trail of confusion, anger, and unanswered questions. The song portrays those sleepless nights in which one is forced to navigate emotional grief and rebuild through self-affirmation.

Musically, Fantasma stands out for its intimate and delicate production: Karlus’s voice is accompanied by a simple guitar and an atmospheric layer of synthesizers that add warmth and texture. As the song progresses and the protagonist begins to recover, marked drums are introduced, transforming the tone of the track and symbolizing the step toward overcoming.
This new release is part of NOVA EBUSUS, an album that narrates the emotional and existential journey of a character in search of their place in the world. Each track is a chapter, and each one addresses a different stage of that transformative process. The work combines music, philosophy, literature, and painting, drawing inspiration both from the landscape and imagery of Ibiza as well as from universal references.
With influences ranging from Gary Snyder to The Blaze and Arca, Karlus builds a bold, rooted, and deeply symbolic artistic proposal. Fantasma reaffirms the uniqueness of an emerging voice within the Catalan music scene, consolidating itself as a witness to a new generational narrative: honest, committed, and full of light.
