Karlus presents ‘Eros (Capítol 3)’, the second preview of his debut album ‘NOVA EBUSUS’
After surprising audiences with ‘Sa Tornada (Capítol 1)’, Ibiza-born artist Karlus unveils ‘Eros (Capítol 3)’, the second preview of his debut album ‘NOVA EBUSUS’, a conceptual work that narrates the transformative journey of a character in search of personal and vital meaning. This new capítol is a key piece of the story: a song of rebirth, resilience, and hope.

With poetic and socially engaged lyrics, ‘Eros (Capítol 3)’ evokes the mythological figure of Eros as a regenerative force and a creator of futures. The track fuses pop and hyperpop with a rich, hybrid production where castanets and synths meet to create a sound universe that feels both ancestral and contemporary.
Deeply inspired by the imagery and landscapes of Ibiza, the song references the sea, dunes, pine trees, savines, and family, while defending the importance of preserving one’s roots while paving new paths forward. It’s a call to love, to move ahead, and to leave behind resentment and prejudice — a message full of light and hope.
This release follows the warm reception of ‘Sa Tornada (Capítol 1)’, a track that explored the return to the homeland after a transformative process. With references to the traditional folk song ‘Sona, Viola Sona’, that first preview stood out for its delicate, atmospheric sound, with echoes of bossa nova and a final tension that questioned the idealization of returning home.
With ‘NOVA EBUSUS’ about to be released, Karlus is cementing his place as a bold, unique emerging voice within the Catalan music scene. His work blends disciplines like music, philosophy, literature, and painting, and builds a symbolic, honest, and deeply coherent narrative.
Influenced by figures such as Gary Snyder, The Blaze, and Arca, Karlus develops a highly personal project, where each song is a capítol in an emotional, intimate odyssey rooted in Ibiza.
