Lāminal is an electronic pop duo formed by Carles Querol (Experiment Zero, First Aid Kit, 4hiverns) and Ramon Aragall (Els Amics de les Arts, Dorian, Outer Space, Cepeda), which was born in 2020, between moments of dualities and contrasts. Two creative souls who have merged their passions: electronic music, pop and the most visceral rhythm to present us with equal parts disruptive and emotional electronic pop. His music is a mosaic of sonic craftsmanship, mixing these everyday samples and digitally altered vocals to create organic sounds with programming, synthesizers and rhythmic bases.
Currently, they are in the process of creating their first work: '(In)tacte', which will be released very soon and which will bring us closer to moments of claustrophobia and personal and collective euphoria; a duality that explores the two sides of the coin of life. Under the production of Miquel Cuxart at the Sotrack Studio – Lāminal they will record 10 songs that will exude an intact and omnipresent illusion, despite the challenges and setbacks experienced.His first single was 'Neural Network', a song that tells us the emotional connection between the protagonist of the story and an artificial intelligence; theme that they later made the REMIX version with Miquel Cuxart. Then, we were preceded by two more singles: 'Footprints fuming' and 'Intacte'.Now, Lāminal returns to present us 'Esbarzers', a poetic journey that explores the contradictions of our steps and decisions. The song transports us to a path full of obstacles, where we are both prisoners and guardians of our destiny. 'Esbarzers' encapsulates the struggle between a past that defines us and a future that we will have to work towards. The production, subtle and loaded with samples from the domestic environment, creates a hypnotic sound universe that invites you to dance one last dance before facing the emotional wounds caused by the brambles.
