Xisk presents ‘Dolenties’, a new album that is intense and direct, turning emotional and political expression into its central axis. It is a work that gives voice to what often feels uncomfortable, focusing on the experiences of women and gender/sexual dissidents.
With raw, uncompromising lyrics, ‘Dolenties’ explores sex-affective relationships, the pressures of the patriarchal system, and everyday oppression. Vulnerability becomes strength, and personal experience transforms into a shared narrative. It’s not just an album — it’s a clear and necessary stance.
Musically, ‘Dolenties’ is built on fusion: urban and electronic music meet in an eclectic, contemporary, and experimental soundscape. Drawing influences from artists like Fred Again.., Skrillex, Hamdi, Nathy Peluso, Oddliquor, and Broken Lip, Xisk crafts a distinctive sound that stands out in the Balearic scene.

One of the album’s key moments is ‘KARA’, a track born from sisterhood and collective strength. Using real voice notes from friends’ testimonies, it builds an intimate narrative that evolves into a direct call to break prejudices and join a brave, empowered space. Its drum and bass-inspired sound enhances the emotional intensity of the message.
This new release follows ‘Bad Bitx’, where Xisk showed a more fierce and empowered side. Now, with ‘Dolenties’, they expand this universe further, offering a more complete and ambitious project.
With roots in Mallorca, Xisk transforms personal context and lived experiences into songs full of identity, emotional depth, and a clear feminist message. Their music connects with the present and directly challenges the listener.
‘Dolenties’ is an album that provokes, moves, and opens spaces to speak, listen, and share.
