Karlus presents ‘Cau menuda’, a new single featuring na Sara, based on a free reinterpretation of the traditional song ‘Sa serena cau menuda’ by UC, transformed into a contemporary, delicate, and deeply emotional piece. A song where tradition blends seamlessly with electronic music, experimental pop, and a highly personal artistic sensibility.
With a production that combines stripped-down guitars, electronic textures, echoes of Brazilian funk, and expansive choruses, ‘Cau menuda’ creates an intimate sonic journey that speaks of fragility, patience, and light. The track evolves from restraint to a warm, enveloping openness, crafting an atmosphere that invites attentive listening and an emotional connection with the audience.

This new release is part of the creative universe Karlus developed in his previous album ‘NOVA EBUSUS’, a conceptual work divided into three chapters that narrates an emotional, vital, and symbolic journey, driven by love, loss, and transformation. A project that combines music, literature, and thought to offer a rooted and contemporary artistic experience, with Ibiza as both backdrop and creative engine.
Drawing on influences ranging from Gary Snyder to The Blaze and Arca, Karlus builds a bold, honest, and grounded sonic and symbolic universe, inspired as much by the Ibizan landscape as by universal references. He has established himself as one of the most distinctive emerging voices in the Catalan music scene—a proposal that connects tradition and experimentation with a poetic, contemporary, and deeply human perspective.
