Sexenni
Sexenni
Sexenni was born in Lleida out of a band of high school friends —Pep, Xavi, Andrés, Albert, Marc, and Ricard— who decided to turn break-time jokes and after-class hangouts into songs capable of moving generations. What began as a game among friends has grown into one of the most exciting proposals in the new Catalan pop scene.
Their universe breathes energy, irony, and complicity with the audience. Lyrics full of generational references and a distinctive sense of humor blend with catchy melodies and rhythms that invite listeners to sing and dance without restraint. At every show, Sexenni delivers a performance where freshness and social critique, escapism and reflection, coexist with a playful and vibrant spirit.
In just a short time, they have gone from high school rehearsals to selling out iconic venues such as Sala Apolo and Sala Razzmatazz, and performing on major stages like the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic (MMVV), and Mercè festivities with Los40 and Cadena 100. This journey has cemented Sexenni as a fresh and distinctive voice, with live shows that have quickly become their greatest hallmark.
With every project, the band continues to expand a musical universe filled with energy, youth, and authenticity. Sexenni doesn’t just make songs; they create shared moments, collective memories, and a unique language that has positioned them as one of the most promising bands on today’s scene.
