The Lleida-based band Sexenni presents ‘Nomès Música!’, a four-track EP built around a clear premise: letting the music speak for itself. With no music videos or major promotional campaigns, the band focuses on the essence of the project and what truly defines them — the songs.

‘Nomès Música!’ is a deeply collaborative work that brings together Sexenni and key artists from the Catalan music scene such as Sidonie, Svetlana and Miki Núñez, striking a balance between their signature pop sound and a wide range of styles. The EP opens with ‘Els ulls que et mirin’, an introspective piece reflecting on the fragility of personal narratives and the weight of others’ gaze. The more celebratory side arrives with Sidonie, delivering an intergenerational indie-pop anthem in Catalan.

One of the most powerful moments is ‘Josep Maria’, alongside Svetlana — a sharp and sarcastic critique of the rise of the new far right, set to a samba-dance beat that nods to Carlinhos Brown. The EP closes with ‘Televisió’, the collaboration with Miki Núñez, released last November and already established as one of the band’s recent standout hits.

The release show will take place on March 13, 2026, at Paral·lel 62 in Barcelona, with over half of the venue already sold out — another major step forward for one of the most promising bands on the Catalan music scene.
