Neisha announces her resignation with the project ‘Presidenta de Cuntalunya’

After a sonic reign marked by charisma, razor-sharp lyricism, and stylized provocation, Neisha unveils her latest project: ‘Presidenta de Cuntalunya’ — a six-track EP with two sides that reflect the artist’s dual essence. Side A is driven by rap and an unapologetic, hard-hitting attitude; Side B, titled Presidenta de noche (“President by night”), delves into more experimental and shadowy territory, drawing influences from IDM, techno, house, pop, and Jersey beat.

Produced by L-street and featuring collaborations such as MLAGRASA on ‘Jesús Gil’, Neisha unfolds a sonic universe that moves from bold, in-your-face trap to introspective club atmospheres. The project — American-inspired but deeply rooted in local DNA — comes with a striking visual world crafted by Miserere Films (Erika and Lupe), where the “president” appears in offices adorned with the senyera, surrounded by 90s-style jacuzzis and memes from Barcelona’s cultural folklore.

Initially conceived as a full-length album planned for 2026, the project now stands as Neisha’s indefinite farewell to music. It closes with ‘Decebre un àngel’ (“To disappoint an angel”), an ambient track that signals the end with dim light and a shadowed soundscape.

With this release, Neisha signs her artistic resignation — but makes one thing clear: during her term, she was the undisputed president of Cuntalunya.
