The Catalan duo Giadda & sankki present ‘GUAITA’, their second joint single, a new release that reinforces their artistic and emotional connection within the Catalan urban pop scene. Following a promising debut, their shared project continues to grow with a solid, contemporary, and forward-looking proposal.
With a fresh and modern production, ‘GUAITA’ explores how love and passion can remain intact despite the passage of time. The song revisits the intensity of the early days and transforms it into a creative driving force, featuring direct, emotionally rich lyrics that portray a constant admiration for the other person. Vulnerability, desire, and genuine connection come together in an honest and relatable emotional narrative.
Musically, the track moves between urban pop and contemporary pop, incorporating Jersey Club influences and references from the international scene—with echoes of artists like Drake and BBtrickz—while maintaining a distinct and recognizable identity within the Catalan scene. The production of ‘GUAITA’ is handled by Duncan David Alfano (OKNOTOK) and Giadda herself, with Alfano also responsible for recording, mixing, and mastering, ensuring a polished sound aligned with international standards.

This new release follows the duo’s debut single ‘UNA NENA COM TU’, a track that blended 2000s pop and R&B with an intimate production by OKNOTOK, Pep Saula, and sankki.
Originally from Mataró, Giadda & sankki represent a new wave of Catalan urban pop. After developing their individual careers, they have joined forces in a fresh and ambitious project. Giadda brings catchy melodies and a sensitivity shaped by influences ranging from Juicy BAE to Ralphie Choo, with a clear inclination toward dancehall. Meanwhile, sankki—experienced as a beatmaker and in rap battles since 2018—has explored genres such as trap, pop, and reggaeton, contributing versatility and a solid sonic foundation.
Their chemistry has already led them to win the fifth edition of the Concurso KLK and share the stage with artists such as Villano Antillano and Ouineta, as well as perform at notable festivals like Embassa’t in Sabadell.
