Lāminal is an electronic pop duet formed by Carles Querol (Experiment Zero, First Aid Kit, 4hiverns) and Ramon Aragall (musician and drummer of bands like Els Amics de les Arts, Dorian, Outer Space, Cepeda), born in 2020, between moments of dualities and contrasts. Two creative souls who have merged their passions: electronic music, pop and the most visceral rhythmic to present us a disruptive and emotional electronic pop in equal parts.
During 2020 and 2021, Carles began a new musical stage experimenting with electronics and simple sounds from the everyday environment to capture moments and sensations lived. Later, Ramon was added who, with his rhythmic sensibility, finished weaving the personality and character of the project with powerful and elegant rhythmic patterns. Their music is a mosaic of sonic craftsmanship, where these everyday samples and digitally modified voices are mixed to create organic sounds with programming, synthesizers and rhythmic bases.
