Flashy Ice Cream
Flashy Ice Cream is one of the key names in Catalan urban music. The duo formed by Pol Giancana and Sneaky Flex has managed to connect with a new generation of young audiences thanks to a style that blends trap, dancehall, and rap, making them pioneers of urban in Catalan.
After debuting with “Brillar o morir”, they consolidated their success with “Don Gelato”, an album awarded the Enderrock Award for Best Urban Album by the critics. They have kept their strong presence in the scene with works like AFTERSUN (2022), also award-winning, and with live shows at major stages such as Cruïlla, Telecogresca, Meridiana Rock, Embassa’t, and Festes de la Mercè with LOS40, even filling Sala 1 at Apolo.
From Flashy, their latest record “Sempre joves” stands out as the most ambitious of their career.
Their commitment to the Catalan language and culture is reflected in projects like the La Marató de TV3 Album, where they adapted “Ya no quiero ná” by Lola Índigo into Catalan with their own version titled “No tinc por”. They have also expanded their horizons with international collaborations, recording their latest album in Argentina with local artists.
With a solid and ever-evolving career, Flashy Ice Cream continues to set the path for urban made here, becoming one of the most influential and original voices of the new Catalan music scene.
