Uri Santafé & Lamliki present ‘BRUIXES 1’, the first installment of a project conceived in two parts, which consolidates the duo as one of the strongest emerging acts in the Catalan urban landscape. Drawing influences from afrobeat, reggaeton and EDM, the record stands out for its clear sonic and visual identity.
Following ‘NGU’, where this shift was already taking shape, ‘BRUIXES 1’ takes a step forward both sonically and conceptually: direct, accessible tracks made to be danced to. The lyrics are inspired by different kinds of relationships and contradictory emotions — love, desire, attraction, disconnection — which run through the album with an almost confessional naturalness.

The first single, ‘ANGELETA / Vanessa’, featuring vocals by Marina Sen, marked a turning point in the project’s trajectory. The track achieved notable airplay on stations such as Flaix FM, iCat, Top 40 Catalunya and Calibre 45, receiving a very positive response from both audiences and radio stations, and placing Uri Santafé & Lamliki in a new space within the Catalan scene.
On a visual level, ‘BRUIXES 1’ builds a cohesive and evocative aesthetic: all the cover artworks revolve around the female body, showing fragments, textures and details. They seem to belong to the same scene, yet without fully revealing what is happening. This open-ended narrative is reinforced by the song titles, which always include a second female name. What are they trying to tell us? Perhaps the answer will come with ‘BRUIXES 2’. For now, the group prefers to leave it open.
With contemporary, carefully crafted production by Lamliki, and lyrics that strike a balance between sensuality and street edge, ‘BRUIXES 1’ features collaborations with Marina Sen, Aion, Acone, Oli and Flaze, confirming Uri Santafé & Lamliki as a project with a clear trajectory, a distinct voice and a strong desire to grow within the Catalan urban scene.
