‘Island Boyz’ is not just a song. It’s a collective portrait of the invisible Ibiza: the one of workers, of dreamers without yachts, of those who write verses between shifts, cliffs, and hidden coves.
From the west side bay to turbo-less vans, passing through Es Vedrà, this track captures the voice of a generation living in contrast. JFXNKA, El Rooome, Xexu, Lexus, Continuo, Slim Samurai, and Soner share verses about roots, struggles, and love for an island that wounds as much as it inspires. A fusion of languages, styles, and inner landscapes, where each line reflects this two-sided Ibiza: the one that’s sold… and the one that’s lived.

Slim Samurai comes from Ibiza to offer us, through his music, the calm of the Balearic Islands transformed into a unique blend of indie and urban music. His sonic universe has been part of the urban scene for over a decade, collaborating with artists such as Cruz Cafuné, Cecilio G, Lil Moss, Chill Chicos, and Las Bajas Pasiones, among others.
In addition to singing, Slim Samurai also directs music videos and actively contributes to the national underground scene, becoming a key figure in understanding today’s music landscape.
Following his latest album ‘Nimbo’ (Delirics, 2021), produced by Tauro, and singles like ‘Hey Mama’ and ‘He soñado’with Pache, Slim Samurai now presents ‘Island Boyz’—a collective declaration of identity and belonging.
‘Island Boyz’ is now available on all digital platforms. More than just a track, it’s an ode to those who live on the island without a showcase.
