Júlia Blum presents En Diferit, the first single from her upcoming album, set to be released this spring. The song marks a new artistic chapter for the Barcelona-based singer-songwriter, hinting at a project that represents a natural evolution from her previous works, with a more conscious approach to her artistic identity and the narrative she wants to create.
The new album has been developing over the past year and emerges from a space of creative freedom, without a predefined direction or a fixed genre as a starting point. Pop remains present, but no longer as a limiting label—instead, it serves as a foundation that coexists with new influences, textures, and sonic layers.

En Diferit stems from the sense of temporal misalignment that is so present in daily life: we are constantly connected, yet often engage in unsynchronized conversations. The song explores this shared experience, present in all kinds of relationships—friendships, family, or close bonds—and seeks to make sense of the moments that don’t quite align. Through a nostalgic and everyday narrative, the piece constructs a small story filled with familiar imagery that contrasts with this temporal distance.
The song has already been selected as a finalist for the 2026 Volta Ciclista Catalunya. Produced by Scotty DK, mixed by Víctor Ayuso at Zamenhof Estudi, and mastered by Juanjo Muñoz at CatMastering. Júlia Blum, a Barcelona-based pop singer-songwriter who has already established her project on several leading Catalan radio stations, returns with En Diferit and has a release date for her new album scheduled for this spring.
