Ibiza is much more than beaches and parties. With ‘High Tape’, artist Slim Samurai introduces a fresh reference in Spain’s urban scene: a five-track EP that blends rap and R&B with a refined, contemporary sound full of identity.
The project, driven by Illa Delirics and Always High Music, is a collective proposal that highlights the creativity and talent thriving on the island. More than eight artists are featured on this debut — including Continuo, St.Sharks, Emar Hoops, El Rooome, OGKS, and Daniel Sorola — with production by Pache, Purple J, and Sorola himself. Together, they create a collaborative work that is outward-looking yet deeply rooted.

A bridge between scenes, languages, and generations
High Tape is not just a collection of songs — it’s a creative statement. A sonic journey that blends sharp bars with immersive melodies, precise beats, and atmospheres that evoke both the Mediterranean landscape and the urban rhythm. The project flows through languages — Catalan, Spanish, and English — and embraces a forward-thinking production without losing its authenticity.
Slim Samurai: calm in his voice, fire in his vision
Known for his versatile style and for transforming Balearic calm into soulful urban music, Slim Samurai continues to prove why he’s one of the key figures in Spain’s underground scene. With a solid career — including collaborations with Cruz Cafuné, Cecilio G, Lil Moss, Chill Chicos, and Las Bajas Pasiones — this new EP showcases his role as a catalyst for collective talent, and as an artist with vision, coherence, and a voice of his own.
A first step toward what’s coming: July 25 on digital platforms
High Tape marks the beginning of a new chapter aimed at placing Ibiza-made urban music on the international map. With this release, Slim Samurai and his creative community show that the island’s scene is alive, connected, and ready to project its voice to the world.
