Cactus presents ‘No són com nosaltres’, the first single from their upcoming album, set to be released this spring. With roots in Valencia, the group returns to their most hip-hop, combative, and visceral side, revisiting their original style while reaffirming a unique identity that blends urban music, electronic sounds, and a pop-friendly attitude.
The track emerges from the need to reflect not only on social reality but also on the music and industry ecosystem in which artists operate. Cactus shines a light on a circuit that often presents itself as alternative or independent, yet functions with the same logic as major corporations, turning breaks into farewells and tours into products to be monetized. A direct reflection that resonates with a generation accustomed to endless virtual queues, aggressive marketing strategies, and an increasingly normalized precariousness.

Musically, ‘No són com nosaltres’ revives the rawest Cactustyle, with sharp bars, punchy rhythms, and an energy that invites both dancing and reflection. The track is produced by Cristian Rico, and mastered by Albert Dei, reinforcing the band’s ability to turn social discourse into a powerful and contagious musical experience.
Cactus has established itself as one of the leading bands in the Valencian music scene, closing some of the most prominent festivals with national reach, such as Feslloc, Festivern, XocoRock, and, for two consecutive years, Festardor. Formed by three young musicians from the central regions of the Valencian Community, the project has grown rapidly, consolidating a distinctive and recognizable identity.
Following their previous release, ‘Apega’t a mi’, in collaboration with Gava and Nico, Cactus now embarks on a new creative phase with a single that serves as both an artistic and generational manifesto, reaffirming their place as one of the most solid and distinctive acts in the current Valencian urban music scene.
