The musician and traveler from Barcelona, Andreu Tixis Bonshoms (1994) reflects, in his first EP La Guajira, on the conflicts and power relations that have accompained Latin America throughout the centuries.
After being part of musical bands such as LeJournal or duvium, the drummer and producer has found the creative space to unite the experiences of his travels with melodic electronic music, nurturing of artists such as Bonobo or Nicola Cruz, mong others.
His first work transports us to the Wayuu culture and reflects, from the artist’s most human vision, the impact that the Cerrejón coal mining has in the area of La Guajira in Colombia.
