The greatest exponent of urban music among young people in Catalonia is, without a doubt, 31 FAM. Kid Pi, Koalekay, Lil Didi, Joey C, AAA and Bandam are the 6 members of this family that has known how to approach a young audience that loves Trap, Dancehall, Funky and R&B, styles that the band has managed to mix perfectly. And with it, create their own sonority singing in different languages such as Catalan, Spanish and English.

‘TR3TZE’ was their debut on the market, a first album that blew up listeners, venues and radio. ‘Valentina’ became a gold single surpassing 10M views. ‘Valhalla Vol.1’ is their second album, and this 2021, finally, ‘JETLAG’ has arrived, a third album that has become the best in the band’s history, in terms of sound, and with the which are already traveling throughout the Peninsula.

Now, they release a new single, ‘Wan Tun’, to start the summer season properly and invite everyone to a good party in any club! It’s a song to raise your spirits, a powerful reggaeton with two different parts, the second dirtier with drums from before. Wanting to party, to take advantage of the good weather, and to dance nonstop, that’s ‘Wan Tun’, a song that is accompanied by a clip with Nil Ventura and Mateu Puntí leading the project.

Barcelona’s Olympic Stadium is filled with urban rhythms with P.A.W.N GANG, Flashy Ice Cream and 31 FAM, the three Catalan trap music formations that are making way for an unstoppable summer. The 1,500 attendees have been able to enjoy a unique show at the Cruïlla XXS Festival, seated, with a mask and social distance.

Those in charge of breaking the ice have been the pioneers and references of the trap movement in Catalonia: PAWN GANG, who after being the source of inspiration for a whole generation of artists, have returned to the stage to recall their mythical themes and present live new music that has arrived this June, such as ‘024’, ‘Tal dia farà un any’ and ‘Vestit d’Amiri’.

Flashy Ice Cream has taken over, mixing styles such as trap, dancehall and rap, with a very personal and fresh style and awarded as best urban album by the critics of the Enderrock Awards, they have taken the stage presenting their intelligent lyrics accompanied by an unstoppable show where they have also debuted with their new single ‘Només tu’.

But the night could not end without the main course: 31 FAM, the band from Sabadell that has already become a phenomenon among young people. After the release of their third album ‘JETLAG’, the best album of the band so far in terms of sound and maturity of the lyrics, they have already started the 2021 tour with an excellent live show that yesterday was reaffirmed and evidenced this change in trend. The urban scene rules!

VALENTINA by 31 FAM has become a real anthem and a Catalan trap and urban music reference.

Flashy Ice Cream release new mixtape DON GELATO (feat. Santa Salut, Lildami and 31 FAM)

Flashy Ice Cream is a catalan urban music band from Sabadell. It is formed by two main vocals, Sneaky Flex & Giancana, a producer, Daax and a filmaker & graphic designer C.Turu.

Flashy Ice Cream’s music would qualify as urban music in Catalan, mixing from trap, rap, dancehall and reggaeton sounds. Fresh and catchy songs that receive influences at the musical level that range from ASAP Rocky, to PNL, to Sfera Ebbasta or LilDami himself, a friend with whom they have collaborated on several occasions.

The language they use is mainly Catalan, the mother tongue of all members of the band, both with family and friends. But they have other reasons to use it. They somehow believe that it is the best way to support their language, culture and country, and they also believe that it has long been a stigmatized language within urban music and this is a way to break this barrier.

His lyrics talk about the problems and life of today’s Catalan youth. They play songs of love, social denunciation or leisure and fun with friends. Themes with which young people can feel identified. Always maintaining ethics and values, within their way of doing and their language without complexes.
