Sexenni & Santi Balmes release new single “Fantàstic shine".

Sexenni has already become one of the most fashionable and highly anticipated bands in the country. They have performed on stages such as the Mercat de Música Viva in Vic, the ELS40 and Cadena 100 stages at the Festes de la Mercè in Barcelona or festivals such as Acampada Jove. After releasing two albums: ‘Retrats’ (Delirics, 2022) and ‘Supernova’ (Delirics, 2023), and generating hits such as ‘La Faràndula’ and its Remix with one of the most sought-after DJs in the country: DJ Trapella, or also ‘Grup de pop’, a track with The Tyets that continues to be a hit, now the band from Lleida has just presented its third album: ‘Joc de nens’.

‘Joc de nens’ is a childish look at adult life, seeking hedonism and escapism through its festive, carefree pop with a touch of humor that is always characteristic. A pop album, but transcendental in its content: talking about the struggle between past and future, Sexenni discovers that it is better to live in the present.But this year is not only a great year for Sexenni for this new album, but after collaborating on the 3Cat Marathon Disc, they now present the new Catalan version of ‘Fantastic Shine’ by Love of Lesbian, together with their leader Santi Balmes. This song is a song to life, to celebration and to joy, which unites mass indie with the festive pop essence of the people of Lleida.

'Fantastic Shine' arrives just one week before the start of the 'Joc de nens' tour, where Sexenni will present their new album at Sala Apolo on March 27th, where, for sure, this song will not be missing from the repertoire!
