Sexenni is one of the latest surprises with the greatest growth in the Catalan musical scene, since in record time it has become one of the most popular and fashionable groups in the country! They have already been on stages such as the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic, the stage of ELS40 and Cadena 100 at the Festes de la Mercè in Barcelona or festivals such as Acampada Jove. After publishing two albums: 'Retrats' (Delirics, 2022) and 'Supernova' (Delirics, 2023), the band from Lleida has not stopped generating hits such as 'De Lao', 'Supernova', 'La Faràndula' and its Remix with one of the most popular DJs in the country: DJ Trapella, or 'Grup de Pop', a track with The Tyets that is kicking it! But if anyone thought that the job was done with that, they don't know the Sexenni. The Beatles from Lleida recently preceded us with 'El Club de la Sisena Hora', a cumbia with pop production that never ceases to surprise fans from Lleida.
Now, they present ‘Mòbil, claus i cartera', their new single that transports you to the joy of reuniting with old friends. Through the image of getting ready to leave the house and checking that you have everything - your mobile phone, keys and wallet - they appeal to a nostalgia that, instead of sadness, is joyful and charming.
This single is the latest preview of 'Joc de nens', their new album which they will release on February 28th and which they will present live, no less, at the Sala Apolo on March 27th, where they will talk with a child's perspective on adult life, all the while looking for hedonism and escapism through their festive, carefree pop with a touch of humor that is always characteristic. This release is accompanied by a video directed by Alba Muñoz, regular director of the group's clips, which tells the story of the reunion of a group of friends drowned for the first time in the routine of adult life. Nothing is more healing in the face of jobs, offices and obligations, than the escape of seeing lifelong friends again!
