Púniks, the musical group born in Ibiza and created by Karlus and Slim Samurai, presents their new single entitled 'Mesquin'. After the success of their first album 'Sa Curta', the duo continues to bet on an innovative proposal rooted in the Ibizan land, but with a contemporary approach that encompasses various styles and sounds.

Púniks, with their music, seeks to reflect the complexity of living in Ibizan lands: being born, growing up, leaving and returning. An experience full of nostalgia and a deep sensitivity for nature, as well as a fusion of cultures, histories and beliefs, which mark the journey of its members. The group has created a unique space where art becomes a window to everything that life on the island represents, all this through a mix of sounds and musical references ranging from Reggaetón, through indie-pop to Drum & Bass.Their first album, 'Sa Curta', was a great step in this direction, where the nostalgia of being far from home, the hedonism of summer nights in Ibiza, the connection with nature and the fight for a better world were explored. In addition, the title referred to a traditional dance form from the Pitiüses, the ball pagès, underlining the richness of Ibizan popular culture and the hope of creating new music for the younger generations of the island. After 'Sa Curta', Púniks continued to evolve with the single 'Trull'. Now, with 'Mesquin', they return with a forceful and determined proposal. The song is a cry for freedom, a moment to say "enough" to what limits us and to start walking the same path. With a dry beat and sharp lyrics, 'Mesquin' invites us to leave everything that is toxic behind and look forward without regrets.
