Púniks & Pache release new single "Trull".

Púniks is a group born in Ibiza formed by Karlus and Slim Samurai - a singer who has already collaborated with artists of the stature of Cruz Cafuné, the P.A.W.N Gang and Lildami (among others) - to create an art rooted in the Ibizan Land, but at the same time make it a contemporary art. It is, simply, a space to show what it is like to be born, grow up, leave and return to the island, in addition to how nostalgia and special sensitivity for nature has permeated this entire journey. The mix of cultures, stories and beliefs is a characteristic feature of where we come from and that is what we want to reflect with Púniks through different styles, points of view, sounds and references when composing.

GRÀCIES AL SACRIFICI - xicu feat. souto

'Sa Curta' was the letter of introduction of Púniks, their first album where they wanted to give shape to their artistic vision, following the set of singles already presented: 'Llum', 'Aire' and 'Dimonis', the rest of the songs on the album. EP mixed different contemporary sounds such as Reggaetón, Indie pop, House and Drum & Bass, with lyrics and feelings that deal with the nostalgia of being far from home, the hedonism of a night of summer on the island, the esteem for nature and the fight for a better world.'Sa Curta' refers to one of the forms of country dance (the traditional dance of the Pitiusas), where a couple dances with slow rhythms and for a short time. This, along with other references in the popular island tradition such as the castanets in 'Dimonis', the baladre flowers in 'Llum', the uc (a cry that was used in the countryside) in 'Mar', the use of Ibizan chairs on the cover… it is a firm commitment to push the cultural boundary so that the new generations of the island have new music to get hooked on.

Now, after their debut album, Púniks returns with the new single 'Trull', an indie pop song that transports us to a Mediterranean landscape, full of nature, sea and memories. With a strong charge of nostalgia, 'Trull' speaks of a painful separation, but also of the hope of a future reunion. The verses evoke the beauty of the Earth and the passage of time, while the symbols of nature represent loss and the desire to move forward.Listen to 'Trull' now, a song to hope and reunion, Púniks' new single!
