Oli is a rap artist and dancer from Barcelona. She entered the musical world with her first group, La Clika Pika, made up of rappers, all women and dissident identities, where they combined lyrics in Catalan and Spanish, seeking the empowerment of women and other identities to transform society. She likes to share the creative space, which is why she has collaborated with artists such as KeTeCalles, Pirat’s Sound Sistema, among others, and now with Las Bajas Pasiones with a new song: ‘Murciélagos y farolas’.
This theme talks about the night, specifically, how we idealize the night since we were little, the magical things that happen in it and this evolution towards a more adult vision that makes you see the lack of freedom and more control in the streets.
This video clip, recorded in Madrid, goes through different underground scenes and even goes through the Fúria Queer party at Sala Sol and at the vegan venue La Alpargata. Being made and created by dissident identities, this reality is also shown and a night where freedom and spontaneity is recovered is projected.
A song in collaboration with Las Bajas Pasiones, the trio from Murcia, Madrid and Barcelona, which immerses itself in transcendental messages such as the deconstruction of the genre. The instrumental has been created by the producer Cesc Valverde, the video clip has been directed by Lo Edel and produced by Adri. Made by cameras Aldara and Patri. The posters that fill the streets with life have been made jointly with the colleagues of the Can Batlló Collective Printing.
So Oli undertakes her project alone, with a lot of energy and eager to share what she has been cooking on a slow fire: raw lyrics, but hopeful and powerful, which introduce you to a more critical and reflective world!
